Ever since I was a little girl, I constantly redecorated
my room, was put in charge of table decorations at
home, was involved in stage planning for school and
helped out with window dressing at friend’s
businesses. This all before I began my career in 1974.

After a 3-year interior design apprenticeship in Germany, I applied
my thus learned skills in different areas, from fashion and colour-
coordination to furniture and living spaces, as an employee of a
major department store and later as a freelance decorator.

I had the opportunity to decorate shows, design stages,
dress windows, build showcases as well as create a multitude
of displays in retail and commercial outlets.

In the late 80’s I moved to beautiful British Columbia, where I
became employed as a decorator by a leading department store
in Vancouver. At the same time I also freelanced as a design
consultant, and in 1995 relocated to Williams Lake, where
I extended my services to include private homes.

Art is a big hobby of mine, especially painting watercolours
and drawing. I also love to photograph scenery, people,
wildlife and old buildings.

Creativity is what makes my day and, if I can share some of my
ideas with others and transform their surroundings into something
beautiful, I experience fulfillment. It gives me great pleasure to
create innovative dimensions and spaces for my customers,
utilizing proven concepts as well as new ideas.

My biggest reward is when customers call me after implementing
my suggestions, to proudly show me their newly designed living
spaces and I can see their smiles and feel their happiness.
